Presidents Meanderings

Advisory Council – President’s Meanderings:

Hopefully winter is behind us and we can ‘swing into spring and summer’ with some fun activities and interesting programs and trips.  Trips in June include the African-American Museum, Tudor Place, and NGA to see the Cezanne exhibit.  We’ll be going to see the musical ‘Dave’ at Arena Stage, though this event is wait-listed.  Beginner Bridge, Religions Around the World, and Matter of Balance continue to be well received and well attended. Our 2nd Repair Café is scheduled for Saturday, June 2.  See staff to be a part of this amazing day of community.  The Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, sponsored by the center’s Advisory Council, was a HUGE success this year!  Thanks to all our volunteers that make Hollin Hall the unique center that it is.  Want to know how to volunteer?  What a difference YOU can make?  What are the center’s needs?

See Staff and they’ll be more than happy to get you ‘on board’!
